Zuech is a German surname deriving from a single municipality in northern Italy — Brez. While articulation varies with regional accent and familial preference, our pronunciation is /zoo-ɛk/.

What does “reclaimed leather” mean?

For our small leather goods, we source unused, high-quality leathers left over from designer production in New York, Tokyo, and Milan. Using what remains allows us to create unique pieces while reducing waste within the fashion industry.

Will sold-out pieces be restocked?

Some styles may return in future releases, though often in new materials.

Pieces made from remnant leather are limited by what can be sourced.

Items marked Limited Edition are unlikely to be restocked. We recommend subscribing for updates.

Will my leather charm look exactly like the photos?

No two are exactly alike. Due to hand painting, hand stitching, and natural leather variation, each piece has slight differences in tone, brushwork, and feel.

Are Zuech products handmade?

Our bags are currently produced in small runs with Conformité Européenne-certified manufacturing partners. Select offerings, such as our sculpted floral keychains, are entirely handmade in New York City.

Where are Zuech products made?

All leather goods are designed in New York City. Our small leather accessories are cut, painted, and sewn in our New York studio using reclaimed designer leather. Our bags are produced in collaboration with a small, technically skilled workshop overseas. Materials are sourced to our specifications, and construction is tightly managed to maintain the integrity of each form.

Do you ship internationally?

No. We currently do not offer international shipping from the United States.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Excluding made-to-order and pre-order products, orders typically ship within 2–4 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your item ships.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in original condition. Please see our Refunds page for more information. Return shipping costs are not covered.
